About Paula

Paula Marshall is the CEO of the Bama Companies. Bama was started in her grandmother’s pie shop, and has grown to be the sole dessert supplier for the nation's largest fast food chain. While CEO Marshall has won the McDonald's Quality Award, McDonald's Award for Innovation, Pizza Hut Supplier of the Year and the Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award all the while turning Bama into a $300 million company.

Marshall started at the bottom of the totem pole, filling racks with pie shells on the floor of the manufacturing plant. No one, including her father, then CEO, thought she would be the one to take the torch. Marshall has faced giants, both in her career and in her personal life. She delights and amazes audiences with her underdog story, and inspires them to take on the giants in their own lives.
